Prof. Bernd Wegner will participate at the Seminar of LMS

Professor Bernd Wegner, editor-in-chief of Zentralblatt-Math, will visit Riga from November 26 till November 28. The aim of his visit is to speak about the perspectives of development of the journal as well as to discuss the possibilities of a more tight involvement of Latvian mathematicians into the reviewing process.

We should like to remind you that Zentralblatt-Math, originally a German edition, now becomes in a certain sense a European joint venture and is edited by European Mathematical Society, together with Fachinformationszentrum Karlsruhe and Hedelberger Akademie der Wissenschaften.

It is planned that prof. Bernd Wegner will participate at the Seminar of the Latvian Mathematical Society on Friday, November 26 at 17.30. The Seminar will be held at the Department of Mathematics, University of Latvia (Zellu iela 8) room 114.
